It’s inquiries like these that some of us photographers only dream of. Proposals are a rarity, one a kind. Because usually, it’s up to either the parents or the groom to think of hiring a photographer for a proposal. Of course the bride does, but that’s about it.
So, you can imagine my excitement when Becky (Rachel’s mother) asked me to perform such a task.
Colin wanted to propose at the GCA football field where they met and he played football.
It was a beautiful night and the rain held off until after we left the stadium. God is good!
Colin told Rachel that he found a house for them to buy when they got married. So he told her he wanted to blindfold her and surprise her. When they arrived and Colin led Rachel out of the car, Rachel kept complaining about how sick she was with the blindfold over her eyes. She kept trying to take it off and Colin was trying to grab her hands but laughing at the same time. It was quite hilarious. So she kept complaining so he just picked her up and carried her to the 50 yard line.
Becky made the signs. Aren’t they adorable?!

Afterwards, we all went to the Vandergriffs for an after party! It was a popcorn party since Colin ‘popped’ the question. How cute is that?!
