When I started as a wedding photographer in 2012, I dreamed of shooting at elaborate landmarks and historic homes. Crescent Bend was one of those locations. It’s one of those places that is like a dream. Beautiful venue, lovely lighting, history, it tells its own story. So when Emilee told me she was getting married at Crescent Bend, my heart skipped a beat. As a photographer, I never want to stay in a comfortable place in my business. I want to always challenge myself and set goals. Crescent Bend was one of those goals. Now on to Jesse and Emilee, would you believe these two met on an airplane? After a long conversation, they both parted ways and told their friends, “I’m gonna marry that person.” After contact, they almost immediately started dating and were inseparable. When I met Jesse for the first time, I could tell that he had swept Emilee off her feet. Their wedding was beautiful. They really incorporated the value of marriage and family into their wedding day. Honoring those who had past and honoring all the successful marriages on both sides of the family. As most of you know, coral is one of my favorite colors. The coral used in her wedding was a little more pinkish but still absolutely beautiful coordination. And that dress? AH! How gorgeous right? Fantastic photography, Amber! Emilee sparkled in her mother’s wedding gown. Beautiful wedding. Loved seeing our special friend and neighbors-sweet Martha, Janet and Amy.
