I’m going to try to not cry while I post this.

I haven’t known Kayla for a very long time. Almost 2 years to be fair. But I feel like I’ve known her a lifetime. She’s one of those women that is destined to be a mother. She has a special place in her heart for children more than I’ve ever seen in anyone. When we first met, she shared her heart to be a mother and how nervous she was if something were to prohibit that once her and Andy started trying.

When she found out she had PCOS, I cried, we cried together. They were told that it would only be possible to get pregnant through medical help. They were told not to give their hopes up because it could take a while to get pregnant. We prayed and prayed and asked God to move a mountain.

Ya’ll, I’m not kidding. Within the first month, they got pregnant. Oh, my heart. She texted me around 5AM the morning she took her test(s) and said she hadn’t slept all night. Andy was still asleep and didn’t want to wake him. I told her to WAKE HIM UP BECAUSE THIS IS HUGE!!!! I was so humbled and honored to be there for her that morning. And I’m even more honored to be able to walk with them through this beautiful new beginning. And I’m already planning for Ezekiel and Sam to be best friends.
