This day was filled with so many unforgettable moments that I lost count. From it down pouring all day to the flower girl playing in the fountain during the ceremony. As you can probably tell by now, I love shooting at Crescent Bend. Not only are the gardens absolutely gorgeous but the staff is exceptional. They always have a backup rain plan but Judy is strict about making sure that the bride and groom get the wedding day they’ve dreamt of for months, if not years. Shortly after we finished portraits, it started pouring rain and storming. All the vendors, including myself, were anxiously watching the radar on our phones. Instead of enacting the rain plan, we just pushed the ceremony 45 minutes later. There was a place for guests to take cover inside the house so no one got wet during the process. We had to change our portrait schedule a tad but we were super thankful Jessica and Chase chose a first look on a day like that day. And the result was a beautiful wedding day. Never in my career have I had a flower girl give me the stink eye like this one. (See below) From the letter readings to the sweet moment where Jessica fixed Chase’s button during the middle of the ceremony, this day was perfect. And it was all thanks to the Good Lord above and the amazing vendors that helped out that day. Word to all you brides out there: Make sure you have a venue that will do everything they can to give you your dream wedding and the best vendors to make the wedding day flow exceptionally well.
Thanks to the following rockstar vendors:
