Pretty Little Things

So I know I have plenty of other things I should be doing right now besides blogging about my packaging but I am absolutely obsessed with what Kate Moore has done for my business!

Being in sales for over 5 years, you learn a lot about presentation and customer service. I have personally found that presentation is everything! Not just in my photos but in my packaging as well.

So, I present to you my new lineup…

This took a lot of time at Hobby Lobby (favorite place) and much help from Kate Moore.

Look at these lovely business cards she designed! I’ve had so many compliments from these. The best one, “These are so you!” That’s branding, folks. All about identity of your business. If you’re wanting to start investing in your business, start with branding. I’ve booked 4 weddings in one month alone since I launched my new brand. It’s worth it!

This one was a toughie. I had been using kraft CD cases for awhile with burlap twine for the wrapping. However, I didn’t like the fact that there was no color. So after being in Hobby Lobby for an hour and looking through ribbons, twine, tool, and even suede, I finally came across this gem. Celery Green twine cording. I’m in love. I love finding new fabrics and trinkets for packaging. And of course you noticed the beautiful stamp. Kate Moore delivers y’all!

Not only have I learned that it’s all about presentation, but it’s also about personalization. I didn’t want to make the same thing for every client so it looks all premade. I wanted to personalize it. So I picked out some ivory circular tags and wrote their names along with the wedding date on the tag and attached it to the cording.

I am a firm believer in thank you cards. My mother raised me well. Handwritten, mail delivered. The whole shebang! Not only is it courtesy, but people LOVE getting handwritten notes. I know I do! It’s nice to think that someone took the time and thought to write out a letter of thanks.

This is one of my favorite additions! I love giving gifts. LOVE IT! So this is my gift to those brides who book a wedding with me! Not only is it pretty rose OPI nail polish, I was also intentional about the name of the nail polish. Hence the name, “Otherwise Engaged”. I bought and personalized stickers from MOO to stick to the lid of the box along with an emery board. My clients love it! I might add that I chose the Spanish Moss because it reminded me of a birds nest.

So there you have it! If you’re a bride looking to book me, the secret has been revealed! There’s also a few other things I include but I don’t want to spoil it all 🙂
